Overview:

Explore Egypt in 9 days, starting in Cairo with the Giza Pyramids and Egyptian Museum. Travel to Aswan by Sleeper Train for the Philae Temple, the Unfinished Obelisk, and a Nubian village visit. Enjoy a felucca ride on the Nile before heading to Luxor to see Karnak and Luxor Temples, as well as the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Valley of the Kings before travelling back to Cairo by the Sleeper Train. Cap off your journey with a day trip to Alexandria before the day of departure.

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Arrive at Cairo Airport, where our representative will assist you with arrival procedures. You will be escorted to your hotel in a private air-conditioned vehicle. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2: Giza Pyramids & Grand Egyptian Museum Tour – Overnight sleeper train.
Our guide will pick you up from your hotel for a tour of the legendary Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Next, visit the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple dedicated to King Chephren.

After lunch at a local restaurant, explore The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), The Grand Egyptian Museum is a massive archaeological museum located near the Giza Pyramids in Egypt. It is designed to showcase Egypt’s rich history, with a particular focus on its ancient civilization. The GEM will house over 100,000 artifacts, including the complete collection of King Tutankhamun’s treasures, many of which have never been displayed before. The museum’s architecture combines modern design with references to ancient Egyptian culture, making it a cultural landmark. Scheduled to open fully in the coming years, the GEM aims to be the largest museum dedicated to a single civilization in the world Finally. Transfer to Sleeping train station in Giza to take the sleeper train to Aswan. Dinner on board on the train

Day 3: Arrive Aswan – Day tour.
Breakfast on the train. Upon arrival to Aswan Train Station, a representative will assist you, and your guide will take you on a tour of the Philae Temple on Philae Island, dedicated to the goddess Isis, and the Unfinished Obelisk, showcasing ancient Egyptian engineering. Finally, check in to your hotel in Aswan.

In the afternoon, join an optional tour to a Nubian village to explore, meet local families, and learn about their farming, fishing, and crafting. Enjoy the hospitality and stunning landscapes of the Nile and desert hills.

Day 4: Aswan  (B)
At 04:45 in the morning, we depart for the optional trip to the UNESCO World Heritage Listed Abu Simbel.
Spend a free time at your leisure and explore the beauty of Aswan

In the late afternoon you will enjoy a felucca ride to Elephantine Island combines relaxation, culture, and stunning scenery, making it a highlight of your visit to Aswan.

Day 5: Leave Aswan moving to Luxor (B)
Grab a breakfast box and check out of the hotel early, then transfer to Komombo to visit Komombo Temple. Next move to Edfu to visit Edfu temple which is one of Egypt’s best-preserved temples, dedicated to the falcon god Horus. Continue driving towards Luxor where you will take your lunch at local restaurant, then visit East bank of Luxor (Karnak & Luxor Temples). Starting with Karnak Temple, built by various kings throughout history. Then, explore Luxor Temple, one of the world’s most remarkable open-air museums. Finally transfer to your hotel in Luxor

Day 6: Visit Luxor West Bank  (B)
You can enjoy an Optional Hot Air Balloon ride over Luxor.

A representative will pick you up around 3:00 AM for the balloon ride. After the ride, visit the West Bank of Luxor, starting with the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a stunning mortuary temple dedicated to one of ancient Egypt’s few female pharaohs, known for its impressive architecture and beautiful reliefs. Then explore the Valley of the Kings, the burial site of pharaohs, including Tutankhamun, featuring intricate tombs that reveal the beliefs and artistry of ancient Egyptian civilization. After taking lunch, heading to Luxor Sleeper Train Station travel back to Cairo.

Day 7: Cairo – Day tour National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, Salah El-Din Citadal and Coptic Cairo.

Starting with The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, located in Old Cairo, spans 490,000 square meters. It partially opened in 2017 and officially opened on April 3, 2021, featuring the Pharaohs’ Golden Parade, which moved 22 mummies. The museum showcases around 50,000 artifacts, illustrating Egyptian civilization from prehistoric times to the present.

After taking lunch, you will be transferred to visit Salah El-Din Citadel, The Citadel was completed in 1183 AD, Saladin’s Citadel served as the seat of government in Egypt for 700 years until Khedive Ismail moved into Abdin Palace in newly constructed Downtown Cairo in the 1870’s.

Continue driving to the area of Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Chruch, Church of St. Barbara, Church of Abu Serga.

Then, we move on to Islamic Cairo, where you will be able to explore Khan El-Khalily Market, Cairo’s old bazaar.  Later, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 8: Day trip to Alexandria 

Our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo, to enjoy amazing day trip to Alexandria (approx..03 hours from Cairo by car).

First, visit Pompey’s Pillar, built in honor of Emperor Diocletian in the 4th century. Then, explore the Catacombs, the largest Roman cemetery with three levels carved into rock. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before visiting the Roman Theatre, the only one of its kind in Egypt.

Finally, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo.

Day 9: Cairo – Fly Back Home (B)
