We meet at Istanbul Airport international departure terminal three hours before the flight. After baggage, ticket and boarding procedures, we fly to Belgrade with Air Serbia Airlines scheduled flight. Are you ready for an unforgettable journey in the Balkans, one of the most authentic regions of Europe? Historical cities, unique natural landscapes, cultural richness and delicious Balkan cuisine await you. Upon our arrival, we set off towards historical Sarajevo with our car waiting for us at Belgrade Airport. On the way, we pay homage to the past with a visit to the Srebrenica Genocide Museum and Martyrdom, which carries the painful traces of history. In this visit, we will experience moments full of emotion in these lands that witnessed one of the most painful events in history. Afterwards, we visit the factory, which was used as the United Nations peacekeeping headquarters and now turned into a museum bearing the traces of the war. Then we start our panoramic city tour of the capital Sarajevo. During the panoramic city tour, the historical Bazaar, which dates back to the Ottoman period and is considered the heart of the city, the Sebil Fountain, which is the symbol of the city, Gazi Husrev Bey Mosque, one of the most important mosques of Bosnia, and the Clock Tower with an interesting clock system are among the important places to see.The Latin Bridge will attract your attention as a historical point where the assassination that caused the start of World War I took place. In addition, Moriça Han and Clock Tower are among the important buildings we will see. After our tour, transfer to our Sarajevo hotel and free time. Dinner and accommodation at our hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we move to Mostar, one of the most impressive cities of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Upon our arrival, we visit Mostar Bridge, the most famous of the stone bridges from the Ottoman period. As you walk around the bridge, you will be greeted by historical stone houses, traditional shops and a fascinating view of the Neretva River. Then, we go to Blagaj, a natural wonder. Blagaj is an important settlement centre from the Middle Ages. The region became a strategic point during the Ottoman Empire and was also a part of trade. Other buildings and traces from the Ottoman period can still be seen on the streets of the town. If you wish, you can visit the historical alperenler tekke here. After our tour, we will move for our trip to Kravitse Waterfalls. Upon arrival at the waterfalls, we will encounter a fascinating masterpiece of nature. The waterfalls, which are about 25 metres high, are surrounded by lush vegetation and the natural pools formed by the water are dazzling. While watching the magnificent view of the waterfalls, we will have the chance to cool off in these natural wonders and take unique photos. After our tour, transfer to our hotel and free time to rest. Dinner and accommodation at our hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we move to Poçitel Village, which bears Ottoman traces. This stone village will welcome you with its timeless structures and unique atmosphere. Haci Aliya Mosque and Clock Tower are among the places to be seen in the village. Afterwards, we set off towards Kotor. In Kotor, located on the Adriatic coast of Montenegro, famous for its narrow streets and medieval walls, the Old Town (stari gard), a typical medieval settlement, the historic St. Tryphon Cathedral built in the 12th century, the historic Kotor Castle and the Square of Weapons (Trg od Oruzja), the centre and main square of Kotor, are among the important places to see. Then we will have the opportunity to take great photos with the view of the Bay of Kotor. Afterwards, we move to Budva, the pearl of the Adriatic coast. After our arrival, we take a pleasant walk in the Old Town (Stari Grad), which is intertwined with history.You will find yourself on a journey where time seems to stand still as you wander through the narrow cobbled streets, stone houses and historical texture that evokes the atmosphere of the Middle Ages. We will reach the majestic Budva Citadel, the centre of the city's historical defence system, and enjoy a wonderful view of the Adriatic from the ramparts of this magnificent structure where both historical and natural beauties meet. We will explore Budva's magnificent coastline, beaches with sparkling blue sea and the dazzling harbour. After our trip, we continue towards Albania and go to our hotel in Iskodër. After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Tirana, the capital of Albania. On the panoramic city tour, the most lively area of the city, Alexander Bey Square, Tirana's oldest and most important Ethem Bey Mosque and the National Museum of Tirana, full of artefacts introducing the history and cultural heritage of Albania, are among the important places to see. After our city tour, we will move to Macedonia and arrive in Ohrid, the historical city located on the shores of Lake Ohrid and on the UNESCO World Heritage List. In Ohrid, famous for its historical and natural beauties, Ohrid Lake, one of the oldest and deepest lakes in Europe, the Church of St John, which is on a rocky hill but also on the shore of the lake, Ohrid Castle, one of the most important historical buildings, and the Historical Ohrid Bazaar, where you can find rare pearl jewellery, the symbol of the city, are among the important places to see. Dinner and accommodation at our hotel in Ohrid.
After breakfast at the hotel, we move for our Bitola (Monastery Atatürk Military Idadisi) & Sveti Naum tour. Sveti Naum Monastery will welcome you with its historical texture, mystical atmosphere and fascinating view. Then we move to Resne, one of the most fascinating places in Macedonia. In the city of Resne, where Macedonian and Ottoman history intersect; Resneli Niyazi Bey palace, Resne clock tower, historical houses and mosques of the Ottoman period are among the places we will see. Afterwards, we visit the Military Idadi where Atatürk graduated and Atatürk Museum. On the way back, we will have a photo break in Resne Palace, which bears the traces of the Ottoman period. After our tour, we will organise our Balkan Night with dinner. Then we return to our hotel in Ohrid. Accommodation in our hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for Skopje, the capital of Macedonia, the city divided by the Vardar River. On the way, we will visit Kalkandelen Alaca Mosque decorated with colourful frescoes. Upon our arrival in Skopje, we start our panoramic city tour. Among the places to be seen in the city, one of the most symbolic points of our Skopje tour is Taşköprü, Macedonia Square, the biggest square of Skopje right next to Taşköprü, Skopje Castle built by the Byzantines, and the statue of Alexander the Great, the historical Turkish bazaar, mustafa pasha mosque, kurşunlu inn, double baths are among the places we will see. Then depart for Matka Canyon, one of the most impressive natural beauties of Northern Macedonia. Surrounded by high, steep cliffs, this deep valley harbours Lake Matka, shimmering with clear waters. The canyon is full of mysteries waiting to be discovered with the Vrelo Cave, one of the deepest underwater caves in Europe. The rich vegetation, endemic butterfly species and nature full of birdsong give visitors peace of mind. The spiritual atmosphere of the historical monasteries combines with the wild beauty of nature and the canyon becomes a fascinating place where adventurous activities and peace seekers meet. After breakfast at the hotel, we move to Belgrade, the hometown of Nicola Tesla, one of the oldest cities of the Balkans. Upon our arrival in Belgrade, we start our panoramic city tour. Strategically located at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, Belgrade's most important defence point throughout history, Kalemegdan Park and Castle is one of the most beautiful spots where the view of the Danube River can be seen. Nikola Tesla Museum, which we will see panoramically from the outside during our tour, is a science centre dedicated to the life and inventions of the famous inventor Nikola Tesla. Tesla's revolutionary inventions in the field of electricity and magnetism are exhibited in the museum. With a brief introduction from the outside, we will observe the worldwide influence of this important scientist and Serbia's respect for him. Knez Mihailova, the most famous and popular street of Belgrade, and St Sava Cathedral, one of the largest Orthodox churches in Europe, are also among the places we will see during our tour.
